I'm in my thirties with a Bachelor of Arts in History. I'm torn between focusing on my career and going back to university to get a BA in Humanties. In the meantime, I currently work at a call center where I am a supervisor.

I'm single with no kids but I do have two cats named Jesse James and Frank James. I also have three adorable god-children. I am an only child who's yet to flee the nest. I suffer from migraines and depression but I try not to let either get me down since no one wants to hear someone constantly whining about it.

Other places that you can find me include dreamwidth, journalfen, insanejournal, last fm, twitter and delicious. Just to clarify, I do cross post 95% of my LJ posts at DW & IJ. My JF account is specifically a fandom/fan journal.

This journal is friends only. In most cases when someone adds me, I will generally add back.

Most of my posts are generally about my life day-to-day, which is why it's friends locked. That said, I do make posts about fandom and fanfiction on a semi-regular occurence. When I post, I post for myself. I don't really post for an audience.

When it comes to commenting, I am not one of those people where I feel that someone has to comment on my journal on a frequent basis. Nor do I feel that I need I have to comment on someone's journal all of the time. In general I enjoy the conversations that I have with my friends that take place in the forms of comments on one another's journals.

I'm a very creative person both online and off. Online, most of my creative energy goes to writing fanfiction and the occassional poem and original short story. My fanfiction can be found at fadeddreaming. I also make icons and they can be found at hiru_no_tsuki. Offline, I love to cook, bake and needle arts.

Fandom-wise, I have several. My first true fandom was The Avengers and I was always a fan of Steed/Mrs. Peel. The first fandom that I really started participating in was Buffy the Vampire Slayer and then Angel.

My current fandoms are Dollhouse, Being Erica, Supernatural, The X-Files, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, Glee and Harry Potter. It goes without saying that there are fandoms that I am more involved in than others. To a lesser degree, there's also Life on Mars, Being Human, Dracula and Miami Vice, The Pretender, and Dark Angel.

My main loves are and will always be music and reading. I have a wide range of musical tastes and I will pretty much read anything.

I love going to concerts and often try to go to at least one a year. I will pretty much listen to anything I like. My favourite local radio station is a classic rock one and my favourite Sirius radio station is First Wave.

Some of my favourite musicians and bands include Depeche Mode, Pink Floyd, NIN, The Rolling Stones, Joy Division, New Order, The Cure, Sting & The Police, Siouxsie Sioux, Sade, David Bowie, The Beatles, Tea Party, Sneaky Sound System, TV on the Radio, The Moody Blues, Tears for Fears and The Doors.

I am always going to a book store every other week. Lately the sections where I've been making most of my purchases: philosophy, history and music biographies.

I run several communities here on LJ. A selection of those communities: depeche_daily, gahan_daily, ats_btvs_fanfic, joss100, 7_crossovers, willangelus, faithshippers, lostgirl_tv, dollhouse100 and deanfaith100.
